Marco. Polo.
Meet Marco (AKA Fat Frank) who has been a Downtown Dogs and Dog’s Day Out client for more than five years. He’s an 11-year-Old Dachshund Mix belonging to Greg and Gina of Minneapolis.
Marco’s parents say, “He’s a really funny looking dog. Thanks to his Dachshund genes he’s a low rider, but he is not tiny. People tend to giggle when they ask what kind of dog Marco is.”
Favorite Activities: Concentrating on humans eating food, showing people where his treats are located in the kitchen, and annoying his elderly cat.
Unique personality traits/behavior:
He loves to burrow and is much more clever than he sometimes lets on.
What your dog would want everyone to know about them:
Marco wants everyone to feel safe. He is a mighty protector and the self-appointed head of our neighborhood watch committee.

Foxy is Definitely Part Husky!
Clients Sam and Kailash of Minneapolis introduce you to Foxy, their four-year-old Husky Mix. They’ve been coming to Dog’s Day Out and Downtown Dogs since 2024.
Foxy came to Minnesota from a rescue in Texas. Her parents say, “The first time she saw snow, we knew she was part Husky!” ❄️
Favorite Activities:
Camping and hiking, zooming around the Minnehaha dog park, and doing tricks for treats.
Unique personality traits/behavior:
Our little beast is obsessed with paper!
What your dog would want everyone to know about them:
Foxy loves every person and dog she has ever met and will scream to demand that she gets to say “hi” to her friends.
